Bars, restaurants, and public venues have all shut their doors. In some counties, officials have issued “shelter in place” orders in order to compel residents to stay in their homes and limit movement. In order to further protect yourself, minimize your exposure with the following tips as recommended by the CDC:
PRACTICE GOOD HYGIENE
  • Clean your hands frequently with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds.
  • When soap is not available, use hand sanitizer and rub for a minimum of 20 seconds.
  • Avoid touching your face and cover all coughs and sneezes (Avoid using hands).
  • Disinfect “high touch” surfaces like countertops, doorknobs, light switches, tables, doorknobs, and handrails regularly.
  • Increase ventilation by opening windows or adjusting air conditioning.
